Quote Light and rousing sound of "Chasin Joe" returns the romanticism of the 70-s and 80-s into the present times. Despite the fact that the single is being released in the winter, it sheds exceptionally warm and sunny feeling. The melody is emphasized with the bass line and distinct rhythm, adding soft and hypnotic atmosphere into the track. It is amplified by the sounds of marimba and cosmic pads intermingled with sustained breakdowns and retro-styled drum rolls. Feu d'Or managed to come to an agreement on a remix by Jody Wisternoff during their very first personal meeting. As soon as the highly titled Briton heard the original version of "Chasin Joe", he immediately took choice -- to let the remix be! Jody added aeriality and dancefloor- friendling to the original mix, as well as some kind of guitar strings plunks and loads of chattering and snapping sounds along with highly unexpected tones. Vocal samples provided that particular charm to the remix which creates an illusion of a pursuit of fictional and elusive Joe whose name is in the single title. The track became more energetic but, at the same time, kept its melodiousness, turning any club where it is being played into Ibiza-style disco. The man behind a la French alias Feu d'Or is the Russian producer Fyodor Yaminsky. His biography is yet not that full of remarkable facts, but the first career steps in electronic dance music already caught attention of some big names in the industry. Fyodor already gained their support of his track "Singapore" released last summer and was well received by the community of progressive fans. The name of Jody Wisternoff needs no further introduction -- he is half of the legendary duo Way Out West and Feu d'Or's long-awaited track was awarded specifically Jody's remix.
