MIDI Files Included:
Like so many other Producer Loops products, 'Commercial Drum & Bass Vol 1' includes MIDI files for the majority of musical phrases heard in each Kit, allowing you to seamlessly mix your favourite synths and samplers with the sounds contained in the pack.
Advantages of MIDI:
While the supplied ACID/Apple Loops/REX content is extremely flexible and powerful, MIDI has the added benefit of allowing you to go to extremes of pitch and tempo beyond which the loops were originally recorded, with no time stretching or pitch shifting artefacts. Furthermore, you can make tweaks to the riffs so they fit perfectly into your existing mixes.
One-Shot Samples:
Each Construction Kit features one-shot drum samples, allowing you to create new beats, fills and patterns to complement the existing material. Simply load them up into your sampler of choice and create an infinite number of new beats.
Dry/Wet Loops:
For users looking to simply drag and drop, the 'wet' files contain all of the effects processing heard in the audio demos. But for producers looking to create their own effects mix, 'dry' loops are also included. Don't like the wet loops? No problem, add your own effects.
Unlooped Riffs/Tails:
This sample library also comes with unlooped/tail versions allowing you to end a phrase with the decay of the reverb/delay applied to the loop, another "Producer Loops" exclusive product feature.

About MIDI:
Like many other Producer Loops releases, 'Dark Tech Progressions Vol 3' features a number of MIDI loops allowing you to play back the melodic content in this pack through your favorite sampler, synth or virtual instrument.
Unlike pre-rendered audio, MIDI can be transposed and tempo scaled with absolutely no glitching. You could even use the melodic content in conjunction with other Producer Loops Titles even if they're in a totally different style.
One-Shots:
Load the one-shots into your favorite sampler and construct the ultimate Dark Tech drum kit, or use the various loop fragments to create new variations on the percussive and top loops found in the main mixes.
Main Mix Loops:
Each main mix has been divided into smaller, more manageable chunks of 16 - 32 beats, and will fully conform to the tempo of your project. About the Producer:
This pack was created by producer and live artist Oriol Benedet. About Thomas Gomez:
According to Thomas Gomez, music notes are like WAVs carried by evaporation above the clouds, allowing them to glide amongst the stars. He describes his own personal sound as a hedonistic mix of pleasures.
From Jazz to IDM, Metal to Classical, Abstract Hip Hop to Dubstep, through to Rock, Funk, Drum and Bass and 2-Step, his musical tastes are just as varied as those of his heroes: Harold Budd, Aphex Twin, Debussy, Starkey, and Pat Metheny.
Although it was the album 'Blue Lines' by Massive Attack in the early 90's that gave him the desire to produce music and inspired him to learn to produce his own sounds, it was his encounter with Eddy Beneteau (Supalife Records/Producer Loops) in 1999 that really motivated him to dive deeper into his music and create his own sound. Eddy trained him and encouraged him to channel his experiments, and the rest is history!
About Eddy Beneteau:
Eddy Beneteau is well-known in the sampling industry for his incredible sound design skills and he's arguably made some of the best DnB, Breakbeat and Dubstep loops ever made. | Producer Loops Ambient Glitch Vol 4 WAV-REX-AIFF

'Ambient Glitch Vol 4' was produced for ProducerLoops.com by sound designer/producer, Jeff Rhodes. Jeff is fresh back from his work on the 'Experimental Dubstep' series, and crafting some more of the 2-ton clanking, limping, crushing, glitchtastic goodness that's been missing from your sample folder lately. Tempos range from 73 BPM to 160 BPM, with the large majority of loops falling in the 90 to 130 BPM range.
'Ambient Glitch Vol 4' includes loops and samples that will work within the following genres: Ambient, Glitch, Industrial, Cinematic, Drum and Bass, Grime, Trip Hop, Dubstep, Gothic, Hip Hop, and Techno.
Format Options:
Includes a choice of ACIDized WAV, Apple Loops, REX or a Reason Refill, all recorded in pristine 24-Bit quality.
About the Producer:
Jeff Rhodes has been working as a professional sound designer and soundtrack producer for just over a decade now. He is particularly well-known for his three "Pro Sessions" loop libraries that were released through M-Audio.
He has also released another nine loop sample sets independently with Todd Milne, with whom he co-founded Perimeter Sound Arts, as well as the 'World Tek' series and 'Experimental Dubstep' series on the Producer Loops label, the three-volume 'Dance Glitch' series, and of course the original 'Ambient Glitch' trilogy.
This second trilogy of material in the "Ambient Glitch" series contains three very useful additional categories of content - real Bass & Guitar loops, and some Kick/Snare/Hi-Hat beat kits broken into separate tracks - and it's all bundled along with some newly forged clank percussions.
MP3 Demo:
Please note, the MP3 demos were created using selected loops and samples from the pack. No additional material was used and no effects were added to the parts. They were left dry to give you a real indication of what's included, and just a fraction of an idea of the kinds of tracks you'll be making in no time using just this material.
Jeff takes inspiration from anything dynamic and expressive, often times even from the work of artists in other disciplines. "It's always an eye opener to witness someone at the peak of their accomplishments. The personal style they can add to something and make it feel almost like something else, like it's not yet exactly known and all mapped out. It makes me want to put a twist on everything I'm involved with, and to always be on my guard against getting in a rut."
The Production Process:
Jeff Rhodes, producer of 'Ambient Glitch Vol 4', describes the production process:
"Returning to the 'Ambient Glitch' sound was a labour of love, and one I took great satisfaction in. I had so many new production tricks to apply to those ringing clanks and grinding synths, as well as more experience using my original methods. For example - fewer filters were used this time, as I have become a bit more surgical with the distortion, and bit reduction FX. I've tried to improve my sense of -sound size- both by expanding the width, and adding distance to the perceived depth; using some subtle, yet effective chorus and reverb FX techniques I've developed...
...While I'm not known for my playing, I did sample some bass notes and guitar bits for these new collections. Of course I'm (still) a HardKore synth fan, but after a while it just seemed silly to keep piling on the oscillators when I have a guitar and bass handy in the studio. Especially after having made hundreds and hundreds of custom patches for my Line 6 POD Farm/Gearbox amp sim gear. So I'll be looking forward to hearing what people do with those loops, and I made sure there are some in the demos and freebee packs...

The style has evolved enough to where occasional little repeats, ghost hits, and artifacts from compression/distortion are just second nature now. If there's such a thing as "natural glitch", then I think this is one step closer to it and hopefully these new loop sample sets find you thinking less about the glitch, and more about how much better and more interesting your tracks sound with a little AG flavour added to them."
