Самое главное событие в мире клубной музыки Winter Music Conference несколько дней и ночей гипнотизировало происходящими событиями, в том числе и церемонией International Dance Music Awards. Наконец, победители названы и можно присоединяться к поздравлениям счастливчиков, среди которых много знакомых лиц. Бесспорными лидерами 25-й IDMA стали Armin Van Buuren, Black Eyed Peas, Tiesto, Deadmau5. Все они увезли домой сразу несколько заветных статуэток. Также в число многократных победителей на этот раз попал и мега-популярный David Guetta, победивший сразу в двух престижнейших номинациях - Best Producer и Best Artist Album.
Не остался без внимания и Paul van Dyk, «VONYC Sessions 09 - Paul van Dyk - VANDIT Records» которого признан лучшим в номинации Best Full Length DJ.
Целых три статуэтки досталось и знаменитой компании Pioneer за ее продукты, в том числе и за нашумевший CDJ-2000 в номинации Best New Product of the Year.
